Blizzard released the cinematic intro for Cataclysm on their official youtube channel today. It’s amazing, as expected from Blizzard.

Amazing. I still like the cinematic intros for vanilla and TBC better, but this is much more impressive than the one for WotLK.
I liked the vanilla and TBC cinematic intros alright, it gave a kind of introduction to the world in general, but I think this one is amazing. I have to say I still like WotLK the best, but that is partly because when I played Warcraft III, after I and II, I was utterly floored by Arthas’ fall to the dark side and the murder of his father the king. Invoking that gave me chills and left me emotionally drained.
This intro on the other hand gets me pumped up and ready for some action. Even if the actual game is nothing even remotely close to the cinematic, but what game is?
